Words from Wiktionary

The English-language Wiktionary is a collaborative project to produce a free-content multilingual dictionary. It aims to describe all words of all languages using definitions and descriptions in English. See Wiktionary.

Words from WordNet

WordNet® is a large lexical database of English. Nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are grouped into sets of cognitive synonyms (synsets), each expressing a distinct concept. Synsets are interlinked by means of conceptual-semantic and lexical relations. See WordNet.

Anagram

An anagram is direct word switch or word play, the result of rearranging the letters of a word or phrase to produce a new word or phrase, using all the original letters exactly once; for example, the word anagram can be rearranged into nag-a-ram. Someone who creates anagrams may be called an "anagrammatist". The original word or phrase is known as the subject of the anagram. See Anagram Wiki.

Google Ngram Research

The Google Ngram Viewer or Google Books Ngram Viewer is an online search engine that charts frequencies of any set of comma-delimited search strings using a yearly count of n-grams found in sources printed between 1500 and 2008 in Google's text corpora in American English, British English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew, or Chinese, generated in either 2008 or 2012. Google populated the N-gram database from over 5 million books published up to 2008. Accordingly, as of January 2016, no data will match beyond the year 2008, no matter if the corpora was generated in 2009 or 2012. Due to limitations on the size of the N-gram database, only matches found in over 40 books are indexed in the database; otherwise the database could not have stored all possible combinations. See Quantitative Analysis of Culture Using Millions of Digitized Books. The Google Ngram project information can be found at Google Ngram project and Google Ngram Viewer. The Google Ngram database can be found at Google Ngram dababase.
